Blue Mountain, Miss. — Blue Mountain Christian University is proud to announce the recipients of the 2024 Leora Duce Leadership Initiative (LDLI) diploma. The LDLI program is designed to promote intellectual integrity, Christian character, civility, servant leadership, and service, all of which are aligned with the BMCU mission.
Based on the biblical model of servant leadership, the LDLI program requires students to earn at least 100 points by participating in various activities that help them develop problem-solving skills, team building, service, and civility, as well as individual initiative and responsible moral choices based on biblical principles.
The 2024 recipients of the LDLI Diploma were 14 students who displayed exceptional leadership qualities. These students presented their seminar portfolios on April 16, 2024. The recipients were Carolyn Renee’ Beard of Brandon; Emily Elizabeth Carr of Water Valley; Erin Claire Dunn of Guntown; Alden Mackenzie Easterling of Tupelo; Hannah Renee’ Farrar of Olive Branch; Alexandria Rochele Garrett of Guntown; Meghan Elizabeth Hopper of Saltillo; Madison Key Jasper of New Albany; Mandie Izabella Jumper of Dumas; Emma Grace Laney of New Albany; Caylee Beth Richardson of Henderson, Tenn.; Mia Nicole Spotts of Amory; Isabella Rose Stephens of Booneville; and Alaina Joy Wilder of Corinth.
The LDLI program equips students with the necessary skills and traits to become successful leaders on campus and in their future careers. By fostering these qualities, BMCU aims to make a positive impact in the world through its graduates.
